Quantum Technology - Research Topics

One of the main driving forces for top-down nanofabrication is to design the light-matter interaction in metamaterials and to improve the optical and transport properties of materials by applying quantum effects, but also by controlling external constrains such as spatial dimension and the strain. Spectroscopy is the main tool to obtain a good understanding of the thus modified structures, and thus provides for us the bases for the developments of inspired sensor concepts as well as is delivering a root to improving performance of electronic and opto-electronic devices.
