Research interest

Quantum Systems for Information Technology in Solid State Physics. I’m interested in exploring solid state systems potentially capable of being coherently initialized, controlled and read out. Currently I’m focusing my research on dipolar quantum magnets such as LiYHoF and related systems. Furthermore I’m interested in quantum information processing and the opportunity accruing thereof to investigate fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics. Previously I’ve worked with superconducting qubits in the context of circuit quantum electrodynamics with focus on longitudinal qubit-resonator coupling, Bell inequality violation and investigation of qubit decoherence mechanisms.
