Laboratory for Advanced Spectroscopy and X-ray Sources
In the Laboratory for Advanced Spectroscopy and X-ray Sources (LSX), we develop and apply advanced spectroscopic techniques for condensed materials and related scientific domains. We study electronic structure, low-energy excitations, correlation effects and ultra-fast dynamics in a broad range of complex material systems. We also develop world-leading undulator X-ray sources for Synchrotron and X-ray free electron laser providing beams of unprecedented quality in terms of brilliance, peak intensity and pulse length.
