Biography

Caori Organista is a Ph.D. student in the X-ray Tomography Group at Paul Scherrer Institut and ETH Zürich since 2018. Before that, she received both her BSc. degree in Physics in 2013 and her MSc. in Physics in 2018 from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota, Colombia.

Research

Caori’s research focuses on the study of the small angle X-Ray scattering (SAXS) properties of pore-size and pore-distribution of mineral and wood building materials with dual-phase grating interferometry (DP-XGI). Caori's PhD is carried out in collaboration with the The pore-scale processes in geomaterials research group (PProGRess) and The Laboratory of Wood Technology (Woodlab) both at the Ghent University (UGent)
