Schneider, Simon MSc

Simon Schneider is a PhD student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) working on a joint project between the Electrochemistry Laboratory (ECL) and the Laboratory for Energy Systems Analysis (LEA) at PSI. His work involves physical and techno-economical modeling of current and emerging battery technologies for stationary energy storage applications.
Education and previous activities
Simon studied chemistry at the University of Berne and ETH Zurich where he received his M.Sc. degree in 2017. He carried out his master thesis at PSI with a project on the synthesis of cathode materials for Na-ion batteries.
