RITA-II: Triple axis spectrometer
Rita-II is a triple axis spectrometer for cold neutrons at SINQ. The instrument is being operated as a joint venture between the Paul Scherrer Institut, the Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) and the Niels Bohr Institutet, Københavns Universitet, Denmark, through the DanScatt initiative. Rita-II is highly flexible, with a multi-blade analyzer allowing a cornucopia of configurations and a plethora of optimizations according to the users' requirements. Furthermore, extreme sample environments may be used on this instrument, such as MA15 (14.9T cryomagnet) with dilution refrigerator insert. For more detailed information about the instrument and access possibilities, please have a look around on these websites or contact us.
