Dr. Hang Li is currently a EuroTech postdoc fellow (Marie-Curie fellow) in Technical University of Denmark (DTU) from February 2020. He is working as a joint postdoc supported by his host group, Functioning Oxides in DTU-Energy, and co-host group, SIS beamline in Swiss Light source, PSI.  Before his postdoc, he got the Ph.D. in physical science in 2020 from institute of physics (IOP), Chinese Academy of Science in Prof. Hong Ding’s group. During his 6.5-years period of Ph.D candidate, he focused on ARPES studies on novel topological materials and 2D functional material. Also, he conducted user surpporting works and beamline maintenance in Dreamline beamline, SSRF, from 2017 to 2019.

Institutional Responsibilities

Conducting ARPES research on novel topological materials and functioning oxides.

User support and equipment maintenance at the beamline.

Scientific Research

Dr. Hang Li's scientific research is mainly focused on electronic structure studies of:
1, novel topological materials (topological insulator, Dirac/Weyl/nodal-line semietal, axion insulator, chiral fermions, et al.)
2, 2D functioning oxides, 2D electron gas system in STO or related hyterostructures.
