As a Postdoc at the LNS, I explore the fundamental relationship between soft confinement and chemical reactivity, focusing on how restricted environments can alter reaction pathways and the resulting characteristics of formed products. My expertise includes the synthesis of diverse nanoparticles within micellar systems, leveraging these nanoreactors to precisely 'program' the properties of materials at the nanoscale.
To decode these complex systems, I bridge the gap between nanoscale molecular organization and macroscopic behavior by integrating Small-Angle Scattering (SANS/SAXS), Rheology, and Spectroscopy. With a PhD in Physical Chemistry from UNICAMP and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from UEPB, I also bring extensive expertise in mineral and clay characterization for the analysis of diverse colloidal dispersions.
