At the 11th International Conference on Superconductivity and Magnetism, ICSM2026, Zurab Guguchia from the Laboratory for Muon Spin Spectroscopy (LMU) was awarded the ICSM2026 International Career (Lifetime) Achievement Award on Superconductivity, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the interplay between superconductivity and magnetism in quantum materials. Using advanced experimental methods, especially muon spin rotation and relaxation, he has revealed key aspects of unconventional superconducting states and magnetic order.
