On 24 March we welcomed the new mentees of feM-LEAD – a programme to increase the proportion of female leaders at PSI, Empa, WSL and Eawag!
22 participants have been selected from a strong pool of applicants. For one year, they will work intensively on their (leadership) careers for example by sharpening their personal career vision, working out a strategy to achieve their goals or further developing their skills in a targeted way.
| Mentees of the sixth round: | |
| PSI: | Greta Assmann, Jiaxin (Dawn) Duan, Olha Marinich, Chiara Pischetola, Federica Ricatto, Lucia Romano, Sarah Treyer |
| Empa: | Vanesa Ayala-Nunez, Anna Ettlin, Amy Knorpp, Sarah Stüdli, Sandra Traversa, Merve Tunali |
| Eawag: | Marisa Boller, Meike Löhr, Nora Richter, Cornelia Roder, Nadja Widrig |
| WSL: | Alessandra Bottero, Elham Freund, Prachi Joshi, Bronwyn Price |
Participants benefit from one-to-one mentoring with an experienced leader from institutions within and outside the ETH Domain. In a trusting environment, the mentor shares their experience and supports the mentee in realising their individual goals.
Through an assessment (BIP®-Test), accompanying events, leadership and development courses and peer coaching, mentees gain additional tools for their mentoring journey, increase their networking and visibility, and benefit from new knowledge and the exchange of experiences.
feM-LEAD (female Mentoring: Leadership for Equity And Diversity) is aimed at women from all functions of the 4RI who are not yet in a leadership position but are interested in getting there. The cross-institutional mentoring programme is intended to help increase the proportion of female leaders in the research institutes of the ETH Domain.
We wish everyone a great start and an enriching experience!
