Corona Protection Concept (COVID-19)
Lifting of the protective measures at the PSI Education Center
As of Friday, 1 April 2022, the Federal Council lifts the obligation to isolate infected persons and the obligation to wear masks in public transport and in health facilities. This marks a return to the normal situation.
After 95 days of the extraordinary situation and 668 days of the special situation, the Federal Council decided on 30 March, as expected, to return to the normal situation. Here are the most important decisions:
- The obligation to isolate infected persons is lifted.
- The obligation to wear masks in public transport and in health facilities will be dropped.
- The SwissCovid app will be temporarily deactivated. However, operation can be resumed quickly if the epidemiological situation so requires. Therefore, the necessary IT infrastructures will continue to be maintained in the background.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your responsible handling of the protective measures during the past two years. We are now entering a phase in which personal responsibility and mutual consideration are important, even without the specifications of a protection concept.
Observing hygiene measures and wearing protective masks have become a matter of course. We therefore continue to ask for respectful interaction with each other and consideration for people who want or need to maintain these protective measures.
We thank you for your support and look forward to your visit to the BZ!
