Participating in the development of silicon detectors for particle physics experiments. Design pixel detectors for the CMS experiment at the LHC/CERN, including readout electronics and mechanics. Install, commission and participate in the operation of pixel detectors in the CMS experiment. Perform physics analysis of the CMS data.
PhD in experimental particle physics with experience in particle physics detectors. Experience with detector hardware including the ability to build and test detectors. Proven experience in particle physics data analysis. Good knowledge of electronics and good programming skills would be an asset.
