Here a few of our projects are presented. These projects are partialy inter-divisional.
New phase slits in the cyclotron in order to trim the proton beam closer to the center than the existing phase slits (the lesser energy the protons have, the lesser it can activate the material).

New Dee hoisting device for simplified (de)installation of Dee shells. Ball-bearing guided hoisting device to be fitted on the polar cap spindle.

Measuring system for an optimal reception inspection and pre-delivery check. In the short time available (Thursday nights or certain weekends) a swift exchange of expendable parts will also keep the personal exposure to radiation to a minimum.

Sensitive RF-based current monitors for fully non-interceptive beam current measurement at very low beam intensities. A 3 year Fellow position has been opened for this project by the Optimization of Medical Accelerators (OMA) network.
