Beamline Layout
An overview of the beamline is given below. Two branches (Phoenix I and Xtreme with Phoenix II) get their beam from an elliptical undulator (APPLE II). Two mirrors allow the switching of the beam between the two branches.
The experimental stations of Phoenix I and II are located in an air-conditioned hutch. A small sample-preparation lab and clean room are situated next to the beamline.
