PSI User Laboratories
Each year, approximately 2000 scientists from all over the world visit PSI to perform their experiments, in fields such as condensed matter or fundamental physics, chemistry, biology or materials science. PSI is one of very few places in the world offering the three major probes for condensed matter research (synchrotron X-rays, neutrons and muons) on one campus.PSI User Office
The PSI User Office is a central PSI agency, whose aim is to serve the users of all the four user laboratories. One of its major tasks is to act as general contact point for both external and internal users of the PSI facilities. If you have any questions before, during or after your stay at PSI, please do not hesitate to contact us.The major tool used to organize user operation at PSI is called the Digital User Office DUO. This is a Web application that allows you to submit proposals, experimental reports and publications, to request PSI badges or dosimeters, to register for conferences, etc.
