Am 3. November 2011 findet auf dem Novartis Campus das sechste nationale Innovationsforum statt. Das Swiss Innovation Forum entwickelte sich mit breiter Unterstützung von Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Bildung und Politik zur führenden Plattform für Innovation in der Schweiz. Neben hochkarätigen Partnern aus der Wirtschaft und der Verwaltung wird die Initiative von weltweit führenden Wissensinstitutionen unterstützt und gefördert. Experten aus der ganzen Welt nehmen teil.
16. Mai 2011 – New, innovative products demand more and more complex innovation processes, which is increasingly challenging for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). Innovation is the result of cost-intensive research and often cannot be performed by SMEs themselves. Thus, a competent partner who performs the research can contribute significantly to strengthening the innovative power of companies. 18. Oktober 2010 – Paul Scherrer Institute will present during Swisstech, 16-19 November 2010 its latest developments, methods and technologies for non-destructive material anaylsis using our large facilities.
04 June 2010 – DECTRIS Ltd wins the prestigious Swiss Economic Award for start-up companies. The spin-off company of the Paul Scherrer Institute develops and manufactures X-ray detectors.
01 May 2010 – The board of the Stiftungsrat der Förderstiftung Technopark® Aargau has appointed Alfred Waser as the new managing director of Technopark® Aargau in Windisch. Alfred Waser is active as technology transfer officer at Paul Scherrer Institut since 2003.
20 April 2010 – The Hightech-Zone as it was conceived by the Paul Scherrer Institute has mastered its first hurdle with the Aargau Great Council's positive decision of 16/03/2010 in favour of layout modifications. Being located in the Hightech-Zone will offer these enterprises all of the advantages associated with the close proximity to the PSI Institute. Now the project is being presented at the Hannover Messe trade fair
18 April 2010 – This year, the Paul Scherrer Institute will make its presence known at the Hannover Messe trade fair in the shared booth of the Swiss foreign trade organisation Osec. The focal point of PSI's presence will be the so-called “neutron imaging technology”.
