Alfred Waser appointed managing director of Technopark® Aargau

The board of the Stiftungsrat der Förderstiftung Technopark® Aargau has appointed Alfred Waser as the new managing director of Technopark® Aargau in Windisch. Alfred Waser is active as technology transfer officer at Paul Scherrer Institut since 2003.

He will be able to contribute to his new position his broad experience in the transfer of research results to industry. As managing director he will coach the accredited start-up companies at Technopark® Aargau and will prospectively expand the institution by acquiring new start-up ideas and projects.

PSI is supporting this mandate financially and will further strengthen the collaboration with the partners in the region Hochschule für Technik of FHNW (university of applied science), Technopark® Aargau and the future Hightech-Zone Villigen.

Alfred Waser will continue is assignment at the technology transfer office at PSI (40%) and will support the team mostly in large commercialization projects.
