15th International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation

The 15th International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation, Relaxation and Resonance (µSR2020) will be held in Parma, Italy, from 6-10th July, 2020.
The conference is organized by the University of Parma in conjunction with eth ISIS Muon and Neutron Source.

Rhea Stewart from the University of St Andrews wins an ISMS Young Scientist Award

Rhea Stewart from the University of St Andrews, UK, has been honoured with an ISMS Young Scientist Award
at the 14th International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation Relaxation and Resonance (μSR2017) in Sapporo, Japan,
for her exceptional oral presentation entitled “Anomalous Meissner Screening Probed using Low Energy Muon Spin Spectroscopy”. The Low Energy µSR
experiments have been performed at the LEM facility of the Swiss Muon Source SµS.

Georgian Order of Honor for Zurab Guguchia

Thomas Prokscha from Laboratory for the Muon Spin Spectroscopy LMU and Head of the LEM Group was invited to serve an additional year as a member of the INTC Committee (ISOLDE and Neutron Time-of-Flight Experiments Committee) at CERN.
The INTC evaluates proposals for experiments on the ISOLDE facility. In addition it reviews the experiments proposed for the neutron time-of-flight facility.
