About 250 students are working on their PhDs at PSI. The institute is also popular for practical training and for its series of lectures promoting the new research generation.
As well as vocational training for 76 apprentices and internal further education, PSI offers specialist courses on radiation protection and reactor technology in schools set up for this purpose.
